Dr. McClendon is a board certified psychiatrist with expertise in women's reproductive mental health and criminal and civil psychiatric evaluations, elevating wellbeing and expertise with compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. McClendon completed her medical school training at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) before finishing her general psychiatric residency where she received clinical training at the University of California (UC) Davis Women’s Mental Health Clinic. She also completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at UC Davis.

Dr. McClendon, a former Rappeport Fellow, trained under Dr. Charles Scott and has worked in forensic psychiatry at California State Hospitals and multiple correctional facilities. She currently serves on multiple expert witness panels, provides civil and criminal evaluations, works as a psychiatrist at an inpatient hospital, and is volunteer clinical faculty at UC Davis.
