Jasmine McClendon, MD, MPH is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in forensic psychiatry and women’s reproductive mental health. She attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California for her medical training. During medical school she took time off and also completed a master’s in public health with an emphasis on mental health. After medical school Dr. McClendon completed a psychiatry residency at University of California (UC) Davis.

During her residency training she was named a Rappeport Fellow by the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. She then received specialty training in forensic psychiatry where she trained with Dr. Charles Scott at UC Davis.
Dr. McClendon has authored and published multiple papers, including peer-reviewed journal articles, across psychiatry and pediatrics. She has presented at local and national conferences, including at the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. McClendon is a psychiatrist at an inpatient psychiatric hospital in California. She serves on multiple expert witness panels. Dr. McClendon is a volunteer clinical faculty at UC Davis in both the general psychiatry residency program and forensic psychiatry fellowship program.
